Black History Parade

King School also hosted a “Black History Parade,” organized by our VAPA Teacher Cindy Wildman, to share the important “first” contributions made by African Americans.  All our classes learned that many people contributed to music, science, the arts, literature, and many other innovations that made our lives richer and enjoyable.  You can see their final projects displayed on the classroom doors through the month of February.
